  1. You leave me utterly amazed. Those are glorious snalephants. It has the same impact as Dr. Grant seeing the brachiasaurs for the first time in Jurassic Park. Why not make it a 6-panel comic instead of 4-panel? That would do two things….

    1) I am so overwhelmed with the giant gorgeous snalephants that I don’t want to have the blood introduced in the same panel. The snalephants need a “MAJESTY!” panel all to their own. When the blood detail is in the same panel, I either miss the whole blood thing or I feel like that detail is crowding the visual impact picture. The “where there’s life, there’s death” tag needs its own panel.

    2) If the extra two panels are a conversation you can include your fact about snail venom, because that is hella awesome.”Where there’s life, there’s death. Snalephants carry venom in their blood…. blah blah blah.” PS, do they all bleed when they walk, or is one of them limping because of some injury?

    1. Wow, that was always one of my favorite “intro to scope of adventure” scenes, which may have subconsciously worked its way into these panels. Thank you!

      1. Good idea.
      2. You’ll see…
