I CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SECTION! I feel like this is where it really hits its adventure stride. The length might have something to do with it, but that zoomed out landscape panel where you can see the snalephants in the background is wonderful, and the reveal at the end is downright trippy in a Mr. Kite sort of way. Also, between Moutain Man’s large, unblinking eyes and the kid’s narrow squinty eyes, I’m digging every little detail. Big break indeed, because this to me is the cornerstone piece so far.
